Warm Hospitality
A warm and friendly atmosphere prevails at Holmby House. Guests arriving at teatime can expect tea and homemade cakes taken, either in front of a log fire in the drawing room in the winter, or on one of the terraces in the summer. A four course dinner (needs to be booked in advance) or a lighter supper menu are available served, either in the elegant dining room or in the attractive spacious garden room in the Courtyard or even alfresco on the swimming pool terrace.
Your hostess Sally Wass is an aficionado of Claire Macdonald's cooking so guests can be assured of good food made from local produce and homegrown vegetables. Freshly baked organic bread and warm croissants, specialalities of the Sibford Ferris village shop, in addition to an extensive breakfast choice await guests in the mornings. Any special dietary requirements can be accommodated.

Garden Room, Courtyard

For eating out, a number of good local pubs and resturants can be recommended, in particular The Wykham Arms (www.wykhamarms.co.uk) which is highly rated and situated in the village. For those who wish to tour the beautiful surrounding countryside and visit the idyllic Cotswold villages, hampers can be organised.
